My sources tell me that Bertha Corso, the quality control manager at EL Laguito (formally at RyJ) will be rolling cigars in Ireland in early September. I suspect that she will be based at JJ Fox in Dublin.

Did this happen Media? Did you get there?

Was in Grafton street this morning and a strange localised gravatational field grabbed me and whisked me up the stairs of one of the cigar houses.
Amongst other things I got a Grafton Reserva Aniversario 'Salomon'. Nicaraguan leaf, medium to strong flavour. Looks, smells and feels wonderful. Can't wait to spark that up later tonight.

Not AFAIK, my source hasn't returned by emails yet - he is travelling.

Nice, is it a big cigar as a Salomones should be?

The Salomones was lovely. Very fragerant, great draw and it changed character throughout the length of the smoke, mild to medium to strong as it got narrower. I think they are making it their special of the week (Decent Cigar Company). I'm going back for a few more. Heres a pic of it beside a Partagas #2 for reference.

Betha will finally be here next week rolling cigars at JJ Fox. There were a multitude of problems getting her a visa for IReland which delayed things considerably. There is a whiskey tasting and cigar rolling event in JJ Fox on Wednesday next week.
