Hi all, just wondering what would be the overall cost roughly for a season ticket?
    Thanks

That's just for your county team games (League and 1st championship game) and either football or hurling. You get a discount on further championship games then. Some counties (eg Dublin) also have schemes for club and other games.

    seasonticket.gaa.ie

its 75 euro per code (hurling or football), and that entitles you to 7 national league games and opening championship game. You get 5 euro off for tickets for every other game involving your county, except the national league final and AI final. to qualify for an AI ticket, you must have attended at least 60 per cent of your county's games. if your county do not get into the AI final, and you have attended every single game involving your county, you will be entered into a draw for a AI ticket.

so, the cost really depends on how successful your county is - heard that the tickets for Croker are good, lower section of cusack stand, bang on halfway

I got a season ticket for Cork, initially costing €75. This first payment included all of the league games and the first championship game (against Waterford). Season ticket holders also got into the league finals for free. Therefore, the games that I paid for after the first payment were the two Kerry games, the Munster final, the Donegal game, the Tyrone game and the final. The final will be €75, the game before that was €40, before that was €30. Im not sure of the first three, but I can't see them coming to more than €90 altogether.

In total so, for every league and championship match for Cork this year I paid roughly €300 with the season ticket

€75`s all the league games plus 1st round of the championship and also got the league final(Hurling) thrown in,great value.

When are next years season tickets going on sale? Is there any discount for buying both football and hurling?

plus, you get the option to buy tickets along the way at a cheaper rate. Apparently the Kerry scheme was the only one where all 250 tickets were sold out.

The Kerry scheme didn't sell out at all. They broke 200, but didn't sell all 250. Dublin did, Tyrone did and Mayo did. For the hurling, only Tipperary sold out their season tickets.

I was disappointed with the numbers from Cork buying season tickets. In hurling, only 48 were sold (possibly understandable considering the strike action), and in football there were only 17 people.

Best €75 I spent this year anyway.

Tickets were limited to 250 per code per county. As far as I know only Dublin (Football) and Tipp (Hurling) sold out.

In addition to the money saved, the other great thing about the scheme was the ease of not having to go looking for tickets for championship games, and the certainty that should your team make the All Ireland, you had a ticket for definite. Oh and the postion of the seats in the ground was top notch too.

People who got season tickets this year have the right of first refusal for next seasons lot, I'd say demand will be a lot higher, so if the numbers are kept at 250 per county expect a bit of a scramble late comers!
