    Great stuff !
Liston was a animal ,... he used to burst heavy bags at an alarming rate !
apparently he couldnt get his hands into a normal boxing glove , and had to wait a long time before he could afford to get a pair taylor made.

His story in the book "night train" is great , especially covering his time in prison etc. ... bad ass mf !!

Best stare-down for me is tyson - mc neeley ,... tyson's first fight after his prison stint !

    go to 2.15 ish

Yeah Tyson's stairdown with McNeeley gets my number one vote. Tyson's eyes following McNeeley as McNeeley sways side to side and then we get a frontal shot of McNeeley with the biggest grin on his face, even though he is faced with the scariest staredown ever had in a boxing ring. Then what does McNeeley do when the first bell rings? Sprints over to Tyson and starts unloading punches without regard for his defence. 5 seconds later he is on his back.. :D He then gets up and jogs a lap around the ring and then takes the count. Then walks forward and repeats what he did the first time and takes another hiding.:D

Possibly the funniest fight in history.

McNeeley gets my vote for funniest fighter of all time with these interviews before and after the fight

I think Liston's stare was more terrifying thans Tysons - just a pity he threw both fights against Ali! ;)

Yeah, but he was only in for a terrible beating in fight two had he chose
to engage. Fight 1 I don't think was thrown. He tried his ass off to destroy Clay
but was thoroughly exposed and beaten.

BayCity, I have to agree with the Hearns choice. He really did look scary
    in his staredowns.

Hearns had the eyes of a dead man, no emotion or life in his stare. Was like being watched by a shark.

Hagler was another who had great stares. He seemed to have two of them, one that said "you are going to have to earn every second you stay in my ring with me" and his lesser used one for when he did not like his opponent which carried nothing but bad intentions.
