Do I need the VLC to tax my car?

    Hi all,
    I am taxing my car tomorrow and need to write down the chassis number... but I can't seem to find my log book. Do I need this to tax my car? Or can I find the chassis number in my car? It's Chevrolet Lacetti... I am clueless about this... what does a chassis number look like??

    You will need the Log if it is your first time taxing...not sure about renewals though.
    And you should be able to find the Chassis number at the bottom of your windscreen.
