Anyone catch yesterdays massive rise in these stocks?

I got in on both around $1 a share last October. I checked yesterday and they were going through the roof, but I eventually bottled it and cleared my position five minutes before the market closed.

Originally I bought the shares for the long term, but I completely lost my nerve as I expected a serious case of dead-cat-bounce today.

Anyone reckon these are still worth a long term punt?

Yes i noticed and i thought the same that it would drop today and I sold at $1.68 but it opened even higher and hit $2.13 at one point and is now around $1.80.

I noticed the pre-market was sky high and kicked myself this morning too - but the volumes today are nothing like what was being horsed about yesterday.

I still reckon it's a good long term bet, but you'd need balls of steel to jump in with all the craziness going on with that stock right now.

There's no basis behind these movements both stocks are worthless, the trading volumes are due to day traders as per statments made on CNBC.

Disagree. GM have got a cash injection, compelling new products and a boost in production capacity. A safer (but not safe) bet than the wild speculation following Freddie and Fannie.

There was memo on GM website saying what all their shares circulating the market are worthless.

plenty of people have gone bust waiting for the chance to take a profit though
