laura woods on 2fm every evening

i just have to say that i find this woman completly painful to listen to. when i come home from work my GF usually has the Will Leahy show on the radio in the kitchen and TBH being a person who DESPISES 2fm he is just about barable, well at least until "woodsie" comes on.

Her accent is completly fake and condecending. She comes accross as a im better than you person (even the other day we had to listen about her ryan air flight she took..... from kerry to dublin), if she does go to talk about that night entertaining its usually some sbludge of a review she just picked up from the internet in the first place and if she talking about a movie that is on and she has seen it, she will basically tell you then end of it.

Wouldnt you think in a country full of people crying out for work the closed shop attitude of RTE might take a u-turn and actually the might hire some people that are tolerable to listen to. Im not even going to get started on Ruth Scott.........

There is very little tolerable on 2fm - they assume people are completely stupid, so they emply DJs with half a brain or less. If you spend any time investigating the family backgrounds of most of the 2fm output, you will find they are all related in some way...

Absolutely pointless slot. I can handle Will and in the main hes entertaining but when this "slot" comes on I dive for the next station!

It makes a mockery of listeners to get her on to talk crap for 5-7 mins that people have invariably read in ther morning paper or thrashy TV magazine that came with their tabloid wkend paper. Are you telling me theres people out there hanging for this slot, eh no.

Has she been kicked off of the lottery show on RTE? She used to host Laura Woods Big Money game but Mooney seesm to be hosting it now.
