    Hi,
    I'm not sure if this is the right thread, but mods feel free to move it to somewhere more appropriate please.

    I'm looking for a gp who's also a dermatologist, I had a friend a few years ago who's doc was both. I'm not sure if there are any nowadays. I know I can go to a gp and get a referral to a derma but I just figure it would be easier for me if I could find one who does both.

    It was decided we wouldn't allow threads asking for recommendations for specific professionals, such as docs, physios, chiropracters etc.

    Getting into naming someone online implies an endorsement, which we really can't get involved in, and opens the discussion up to someone else coming along and telling us "that physio/surgeon is crap, don't go to him".

    It's messy, and it doesn't really come under our remit of discussing issues related to biology and medicine.

    I'm not looking for a recommendation, just do doctors with dual roles exist and where can I find one, like a database of some sort. :confused:

    I did read the charter but as I'm not looking for a recommendation, so if I wasn't clearer on that point.

    i know english isnt my first language but i think even an 8 year old would comprehend what i said, but anyway

    whats the difference between giving out names of doctors you know or the ones that you recommend?, some one else might come along and say "that doctor is crap dont go to him" AKA a person i know might get attacked if i name him.

    They exist, my old doctor from where I grew up was a GP who'd done post graduate qualifications in dermatology. I'm not sure if that'd make him a dermatologist though.
