hard drive problem

    i have a dell dimension 8400 have it a few years and need to start using it agen coz laptop broke. i get a blue screen saying unmountable boot memory. in bios my hard drive is not detected and when i run the boot cd then it says disk drive was not detected


    is it broke

    can i buy any internal hard drive

    can i get an external hard drive

    or can i fix my original
