I recently graduated from Financial Maths at NUIG. In 1st year we had about 15 hours per week. First year is pretty easy, we had just one exam at Christmas (Probability) and the rest of our exams were at summer. The course gets more difficult in later years (especially 3rd year) but if you work at it ye should be grand. If ye have any more questions feel free to PM me.

    Defo anchorman!:D

Oh can anybody answer this for me. I registered my modules for the course, basically picked the only ones i could because there were only 2 options to fill 30 credits. But was just having another look at the handbook which says i have to do EC100 but the option i picked was EC105, both economics. So was just wondering should i ring up to change this or leave it as it is?

I registered today but it didn't say anything about choosing modules?? Is there any choice or do we all do the same subjects?

I didn't have any choice of modules at all. I just rang someone in NUIG and they said we'd pick our modules when we get there!!?? Sorry, don't know if that helps
