My hours were reduced from 5 days to 3 and at the moment I am receiving unemployment benefit for the days that I don't work (I put in slips to confirm i'm working wed, thurs, fri).

My boss has said that he may be able to offer me a half day or a full day on a sunday. I am just wondering if I would still be entitled to part-time dole? (as I wouldn't get paid as much as I am getting at the moment if I worked the 4 days)

If somebody could let me know that position that would be great

    Sundays don't count.

Is it absolutely certain that Sundays do not count? I heard that they now do count and why are Sundays included on the slips if they don't count

Also when I first started getting the part time social it stated on the letter I would be entitled to it for 9 months? What happens when the 9 months are up? (I know my social welfare contributions would be 'used up' by then but I am still working so would I at present be building up contributions which I could use when the 9 months are up)

Hoping i will be working full time by then but i'd just like to know!

    Thanking you in advance
