    Hi all,

Looking for a sun holiday for me and the boyfriend but as he is extremely active and easily gets bored I'm looking for a place that can be nicel and relaxing for me while he can go off and do his adventure thing!

    Any suggestions/help appreciated.

    Cheer, Joey.

If you do the independent traveller thing - book flights, accomodation, and car hire - you can go to the Costa Brava. Estartit is a centre for scuba diving. It also has miles of dirt track, and flat roads for cycling. There are two airfields - one for microlights(sightseeing trips available), and one for light aircraft. The Pyrenees are within easy driving distance, for hiking.
For relaxing - the town has a large beach, and the requisite cafe's, bars, and restaurants.
    Hope that helps! :)

tenerife; take a trip on the yellowsubmarine http://www.submarinesafaris.com/t/index.html

visit mount tiede national park, while there take a cable car to close to the summit and if you have a permit (available on the island) you can hike to the cone of the volcano

go whale and dolphin watching from the harbour in los cristianos

off road jeep, swim with turtles, visit europes highest seacliffs, visit the waterpark, ride a camel, in february europes biggest carnival takes place in the capital santa cruz

That sounds great too! Do you know how I would go about booking it? Like would I be best to go on a package holiday and then do these things or should I book the flights etc. myself?

On price, you probably won't beat a cheap, late package. If you want to go somewhere, not served by the tour operators, out of Ireland, you will have to travel independently. BTW, the Costa Brava IS available, ex Belfast.

i flew with ryanair, flights cost something like €60 return though i was keeping an eye out on special offers for a while and then nabbed the ones that came along

i booked the hotel/apartment with http://www.otel.com haven't had a problem with these guys yet and you get money off your next booking

http://www.tripadvisor.com for hotel reviews before you book, i write reviews for that site :D
