This is one for the girls really!

I'm going to order a tri-suit online, from wiggle, and I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for one? Do they usually come with a bra-type support inside for the run?

    Thanks

No, you wear your bra underneath it.

If you're like me and a nervous pee-er before the race then my other recommendation would be to get a two piece as it's easier for wriggling out of when you realise that you've to go to the bathroom for the third time in eleven minutes.

Mind you, some would say that's what the warm up (pardon the pun) in the water is for.

No, you wear your bra underneath it.

Does that not get uncomfortable, as it's all wet, and wouldn't be made out of quick-drying material like swimming togs?

Most sports bras are made of material that will dry out very, very quickly. If you think about it, they're going to be made of material that will wick moisture (i.e. normally sweat) away from your skin.

I've never been chaffed or noticed it as uncomfortable.

    Thanks for the replies.

Can anyone recommend a good brand?

Oh, I meant recommendations for a tri suit/tri shorts & top! Thanks anyway :)

I have a Saucony tri suit that got its first outing at a triathlon last weekend - I found it fantastic. I had tried on another one in the shop (a more expensive 2XU one) but I didn't really like the feel of the material in that one! The Saucony felt great all the way through the event and I opted for not wearing anything under mine and I was grand for the run - reading these posts now though, I'm wondering if the norm is to wear a bra under it?! Worried now in case I looked like a complete novice! Anyway, I got my one in Wheelworx in Clondalkin if that's any good to you...

I don't wear anything under mine either - it has inbuilt support so I just wear it as a bra as well & it'd just be too tight to breath!

Depends on what kind of tri suit you buy to be honest. Some of the girls in my club have lose tops & wear bra's underneath & others have ones like mine with the inbuilt support.
