Any cars with decent resale value?

    Hi folks,

I found myself in a bit of a situation, I need a car for the next 6-12 months, and I would be looking to sell it afterwards. I'm not particularly picky, just need something to take me to work and back, a bit over 100km daily commute.

I realize cars just aren't selling at the moment and it's a big worry that I might be stuck with a second car that I don't need and don't want. Also, I don't mind spending a bit of money if I know I can get most of it back.

So to ask all the kind folks around here, what make/model would I have a reasonable chance of selling on? Should I just get something cheap and face scrapping it at the end, or try and spend some money on a decent car in hopes of selling it on?

    Thanks!

Just go the bangernomics route, buy something for 1000-1500 then you don't have to care about resale value. People get very anal about the number of owners on a car etc., spending any more in an attempt to preserve resale value is daft.

You can get a few hundred back for it at the end and get it off your hands, far less stressful route to take.

    +1

Buy something with a sfresh an NCT as possible too (will make it easier to sell on)
