Skills: Advanced Excel VBA programming, development, testing, QA stages of multiple functional changes including complex queries, stored procedures, functions, tables and reports. At least 3 years programming experience.

Project includes: Populate data to existing Excel template from SQL database using stored procedures. Automation/macros are needed to update 3 monthly reports: (1) Corporate report, (3) Area Reports and (67) Location reports. Strict reporting deadline September 12th. Some work has been done already, including Excel templates, some stored procedures, initial connection with database. Knowledge of Microsoft SQL database preferred but any relational database experience is welcomed. Some database supervision will be available, but advanced VBA skills are what we really need. We work in a Vista, Office 2007 environment (yes I know ).

Our IT manager needs to work on another project so we need someone quick that will not need much supervision beyond the knowledge of our databases. At the moment we have not gotten any further than trying to open the data from a stored procedure, so that would be one of the first things we are looking for a person to be able to start with.

We are a pretty laid back company, the person will need to be onsite for most of the time, location is in Donnybrook, Dublin. There might be some more smaller projects available depending on range of scripting skills.
Our IT manager mentioned something about 30-40 an hour.
