Ok heres the deal, Im 25, male, playing guitar for around a decade.
Played over 1500 gigs in the past few years. Have played pro but want to do original. Lead or rhythm, dont mind can play either. I can write riffs, songs, arrange etc. I've good theory knowledge. Did the original thing for 5 years before my old band split up over musical differences. Want/need to get back to making new music. I am based in Dublin city.

So I want to find some musicians, preferably who've been playing a few years.

I want to start a metal band, but with a bit of a twist.

trash/death style guitar, with an actual singer, instead of screaming..we can have some screaming but lets face it most great metal bands out there have terrible vocals. So lets ditch that, get a real singer.

Of course a singer with a rock voice, Mike patton of faith no more comes to mind, or devin townsend of strapping young lad. 2 metal bands with good singers and a bit of screaming but not pure death metal grunting, that doesnt mean we cant be hardcore though! Im not into insane noise without direction, I like it tight, punchy, dynamic, moshable, effective and varied.

Only apply if you like and can play fast hardcore music, with lots of dynamics, chunky rythyms, and some grooving metal ( pantera style groove)
Metal is a demanding style so this as is for those who can keep up. Previous gig experience is not essential nor is having excellent gear, just the heart and talent to do this, we'll work together to get anything we need.

I have a knack for writing original metal with elements of trash/death/prog/Groove and some elements of hard rock mixed in. Trust me it will rock.;)

Influences - In metal I like SYL, Sikth, meshuggah, Pantera, Oldschool Metallica, some of the older Killswitch stuff, Lamb of God, Some Machinehead, oldschool Slayer etc etc you get where Im coming from

Also love Thin Lizzy, AC/DC etc etc

So be you a drummer, bassist, guitarist or singer drop me a line if your ready to do this. I am talking 200% commitment, aiming to be gigging and recording within 6 - 8 months with the right people. Have worked the pro scene as a session musician, I have good connections within Irelands biggest agencies and booking agents. I have a studio with pro gear available to me at a very resonable price anytime for regular rehersals.

Im deadly serious about this so please no time wasters.
So for those about rock ;) pm me and lets get started!!!

I'm a terrible player after lapsing for years. If you need some bad riffs BRING IT ON... I may be on to you about lessons yet mate!
