Can anyone give advice? I have 06 opel astra club 45,000 on clock just serviced and ABS light on, I brought it to an opel garage and it was put on machine and sensor gone on front right wheel 400euro to fix, i agreed and booked it in. On the way to get it fixed speed diall goes mad and garage then tells me bad news ABS ECU needs replacing at a cost of 600euro. I have phoned a place about a reconditioned one cost about 400euro. I dont know what to do as all garages seem surprised that it would go on a 06 car. Can anyone give me advice????? If I get opel to repair it it will take 2 weeks to get part is it safe to drive and speedometer was back to normal this evening:confused:
