    I am looking to go somewhere for 8 weeks next spring/summer (I realize it's a long way away!!) I am going alone and want to do very little but relax and get away. I want somewhere that is primarily safe but cheap! I don't mind spending to get there...

    Any suggestions or advice would be great

    I'd check South East Asia if I was you. I've been there twice, safe and ridiculously cheap!

    That's exactly what i wanna do, i would never go alone though cos nowhere is really safe anymore, u should think about getting a travelling companion. I'm thinking of getting a group of people together to go travelling, it would be more fun aswell, think about it :)

    Thanks guys. It's an idea I'm just kind of thinking about at the moment. Travelling on my own isn't an issue really.
