Was thinking of buying an ipod classic or nano, but dont want to buy one and find a new gen out 3 weeks later.

So any news on upcoming ipod's would be great...if any.

There's probably some going to be announced at Apples September Conference.

I'd hold off for a little while!

They upgrade most of them every September, that's been the cycle for a good few years. So you can expect new models to be announced on the 9th and shipping very soon after.

Not sure if much will happen to the classic though, but you can expect a 32GB Nano for ~ the same price as the current 16GB model. With camera and longer screen as mentioned above.

Definitely hold out till next month anyway, rumours in the US that a 16gb version 3 ipod touch will be only $199 which means one with decent storage(32gb or whatever) cant be much more than 200€ over here!:)

It'll also be interesting to see whats done with the hard drive ipod classic and nano!
