ANYONE GET MARRIED IN LAKE BLED SLOVENIA?

    Hi all. I'm just back from Lake Bled in Slovenia as was thinking of using it for a wedding next year. Has anyone got married there or been to a wedding there. Basically I'm looking for feedback on reception venues and how much I could expect to pay per head. Also has anyone used Primavera Bled wedding planners. We met a rep from them and he seemed very knowledgeable and efficient. Feedback would be great . Thanks.:)

    No, but it is beautiful! And you'll have to carry your bride up the steps of the church on the island :)

    Bled is beautiful, but remember that Slovenia is a tiny country - it's probably possible to have the ceremony in Bled and the reception in Ljubljana (about an hour away) which might be better value. I've no experience of this though, sorry.

    For photos (apart from the obvious ones at the lake) I'd recommend the Vintgar Gorge which is only a few km away, absolutely stunning scenery and quieter than the lake. It's worth checking this out even just to see it.
