Just wondering are the college medical services such as the doctor and physio free to students?

    Yes.

Because there are a limited amount of slots available you will be unlikely to get an appointment the day you ask for one so they advise students to register with a local GP as well. I have no idea how many students do this.

    Far more details here.

Apply for a medical card at your UL address. You may qualify to be assessed independently of your parents.
