question on folds bet

    Hmmm

    so I had an 8 from 10 fold bet i think it was with pp and staked 30e or so.

    8 of my selections came thru but I got just like 3 euro back.. is this correct...? The 2 big hitters [evens or better] of my selections failed mind you but the rest won

    was expecting back more than 3e tho!

    I'm sure some one else can explain this better but it could be right anyway. Sounds VERY low but. You placed 45 bets (10c8). And only one of those bets actually won (when the two that lost wern't included). So it would have cost a fair bit to place the bet. So you probably only had less than a euro on the accumulator that won. Then minus the money you placed which didn't return and profit.

    Hope that makes some sort of sense.

    Again could be mistaken!

    I dont have a copy of my slip sadly basically it was a 10 fold accu, and had 8 from 10 [to win]

    the first 5 were euro games last week all came thru, pretty low odds

    everton
    steau
    fulham
    etc

    the next 5 were two german games [lost, these had the highest odds also]
    galatasaray won
    notts county won
    juve won

    total stake was circa 30e or 33e not sure

    i asked her to double check but thats what she said...puzzled as to how 30e gets back so little

    It wasn't really 30 euro you had on it tho. you had less than a euro on an 8 team accum, which won, rest lost. So 29 of your hard earned euros you lost. And then you got your ~euro back plus your winnings. Because two teams lost, that meant 44 of your 45 accums failed. If you get me. So your winning accum got you like ~33euro profit. But you were already down ~30euro from the others.

    As pointed out twice, your bet is made up of 45 different combinations of 8 teams from 10


    So its 45 bets and the 30 is split evenly. So 66c on each bet.
    Because only 8 won, you had 44 losing bets, which is e-29.33
    You winning bet returned c. 33 or 63 euro (depending on weither or not it was e3 total or e3 profit)

    If 9 out of 10 won, you would og had 9 winners for about 600 or more profit
    and all 10 return 45 for 3k or so
