    Hi

I'm getting seriously annoyed about this.... I'm looking to upgrade on O2 and have finally decided to get an iPhone except either a) the shop I try doesn't have them in stock or b) the shop won't answer their bloody phone so I can't find out. Grrr....

I'm living in Clare but would drive to get one. ANyone know of any O2 shop that actually has them in stock?

Thanks (and sorry for the anger!)

I know how you feel, my upgrade finally kicked in today. I hit every O2/Carphone warehouse in Limerick. Nada.
I had a good idea before I set off on my quest that I would be returning home empty handed.

Best response i could get was CPW in the Parkway who are hoping for some stock in the second week in September.
It really boggles my mind as to why we can't upgrade online.

What I don't understand is why O2 are putting so much into advertising that they have it when they don't!

Because there an absolute joke of a company who never should have been given the iphone contract in the first place.

Op if you know someone in italy or belgium you might be able to get one there. Or you can risk it with ebay and find a reputable seller, might cost a bit more but at least wont have to have anything to do with o2.

Thanks for the "advice" jd83!!! I've been with O2 for about 12 years and to be honest have never had a problem with them. I have also researched other companies and for what I want/need they are the best. My only problem with them is this stupid iPhone. (I'm sure it's not as great as I think it's gonna be!!)

I'm definitely not buying one off contract cos I'll be paying about an extra €350 - I'm not that flush with cash!!!

I think I have come up with a way to get around it though so fingers crossed it'll work out.....

Ah no, I'd say it's awesome.

    /shameless fanboyism

But regardingg 02: I lived with an iPhone user for two years and he had nothing but problems with 02. Maybe he was just unlucky though, I really don't know.

I can tell you that I asked around Dublin city centre today and everywhere said they'll have them in in 2-3 weeks minimum.
