    nobody tried it yet?

Didnt try the co-op aspect but there is a single player version. Wait til some friends are online later this evening to give the co-op a go.

Overall controls feel a bit smoother over the original, the lack of aim button from what I briefly could find was slightly annoying when one of the weapons is a rifle...

But there are a few nice co-op touches (such as the new role of those power poles in the original is directly linked to the co-op) plus a few weapons/vehicles that are co-op oriented.

The ai teammates were non existent but i'll let that slide cause its meant to be a co-op demo.

But yeah its like monster hunter in the future minus the rpg stuff. And boy is it fun trying to take those big boys down.

Its like they took the best parts of the original and focused on it excessively.

Though I hope plotwise they dont take themselves seriously. Anygame that involves getting eaten as part of the attack plan should never take itself too serious (case in point GOW2)

I really enjoyed the demo, played it a good few times now but only managed to win the battle once! I'm confused as to why they brought out a demo so early though, the game isnt due until next year I think?

maybe they are unsure if co-op monster hunting is the direction to take the franchise and are testing the water.

according to wikipedia its hitting the us shores *fall 2009* (and japan in 2010)
