    '03 Opel Vivaro 6 Speed

Ball joint clunk noise when moving off under load, have checked ball joints, track rod ends, suspension bushes and nothing seems obvious.

    Any suggestions?

I think this is the van that gives gearbox trouble. Might be worth getting that checked out.

Thanks, it's had the gearbox fixed before - I defo agree that this van gives gearbox trouble!
I'm not sure that it's the same thing this time...

could be a number of things. Worn bushings, engine or gearbox mounts the list is long....!

sorry to ressurrect this thread after such a long period of time but I too have a Vivaro, 1.9 DI 2003, i have just replaced anti roll bar bushes, both inner tie rods, both track rod ends and both bottom ball joints, this has greatly improved the handling as expectedbut there is still a nasty knocking noise coming from the suspension when i go over a fairly big bump or pothole, its a heavy metal kinda bang, any ideas what it could be?
