Hi ive just accepted a CAO offer to
    Institute of Technology Blanchardstown

wasnt my desired choice but i dont drive and hardly ever go to Blanchardstown as it is!
i have a few questions if anyone can answer them please :)

    1. if i was to get the 76A would it go directly to ITB?

    2. Is it in walking distance from ITB to Blanchardstown shopping centre?

    3. If anyone knows direct bus routes from the City Centre to ITB would help so much :)

    thanks :)

The 76A only operates as far as Blanchardstown Centre. You'd then have to walk or take, I think, the 236 which passes ITB while operating around in a circle to/from Blanchardstown Centre.

The 38B operates to/from ITB, timetable here:

It's one bus each way per day, the one with the letter 'b'.

Direct routes from City to ITB:

The quickest is the 38C, which leaves you at the roundabout outside the campus. The 38B drops you further inside, but travels through Castleknock first. The plain 38 is by far the slowest.

The 38A is even quicker than all of the above, but you'll need to walk about 10 minutes from where it drops off at Corduff.

If travelling from Palmerstown, get your regular routes (25/a, 26, 66/a/b/d, 67/a) to the last stop on D'Olier Street and then just walk around to Hawkins Street for the 38/a/b/c.

Use a Travel-90 prepaid ticket and you'll be able to make two bus journeys for less than the price of one.

40D is also fairly direct, but I would say it's much of a muchness by the time you walk down from Ballycoolin Road.
