    Hi,
2 Threads in the one day, things getting busy for me obviously!!

Have many people here used sectional garage doors, they fold up in 4 different sections apparantly..

I've been told by a friend that they're the way to go and are much more secure, look better, etc than roller doors.

Builder has told me that the railings they fold up onto can be very obtrusive inside the garage itself.

Solid timber garage doors would probably look the best but I imagine would cost a clean fortune..

Thanks in advance for any advice..

    Hi

We recently installed a sectional garage door. I am not sure if I can mention the company we got it from. We have not got electricity hooked up to it yet. It actually looks like two doors with handles etc, and people are suprised when it 'rolls up', its also insulated. The mechism overhead does not bother us, I cannot touch it and I am over 6' tall. We love it as a garage door.

    Hi Clogher71,

Can you PM me the supplyer of your garage doors.

I cannot find these type of doors that look like timber doors.

    Thanks,

It depends on your garage and your personal taste. Sectional doors are very popular right now. Also, timber doors are a good option. It really depends on your garage.
