Hi all I'm An ex member of the naval service. I was just wondering is there anyone whom I could contact about getting a model of the L.E. Ciara. Are there kits out there? I'm also trying to find a model of a roman wars ship from the carthage time? "A triream" sorry my spelling could be wrong there?:o

I couldnt find any kits out there of the l.e. ciara. Though i know this is a peacock class ship??? There are no kits that i could find of this. Though there are plans around if you wanted to make a wooden one.
Is there any other class of boat that is similar to the ciara?

as for the roman ship, thats easy...

Sirmar produce a "semi-kit" for the Peacock class in 1:48 scale, consisting of a glass fiber hull and other bits and pieces. You'll have to source/make the rest yourself, though, and the "semi-kit" is recommended for more experienced modellers.

    Here's a link for you:
