I have a Dell 1720 and I have since installed 4GB of RAM, it came pre-installed with Vista x86, and I really want to install Windows 7 x64 because to be perfectly honest Vista sucks ass by comparison of Win7. Hey Guys,

Just need a bit of help.

I have a Dell 1720 and I have since installed 4GB of RAM, it came pre-installed with Vista x86, and I really want to install Windows 7 x64 because to be perfectly honest Vista sucks ass by comparison of Win7.

The question is, are there any drivers for the Dell Inspiron 1720 for Windows 7 in x64..or even in x86?

Or can I just use the Vista drivers?

Anything i've installed 32bit win7 on didn't need any drivers installed. It picked up everything on install and everything worked out of the box. Don't see 64bit being any different.
