hate to be a party pooper, but should 12yearolds be playing airsoft? Especially in a ghillie suit that could end up with someone stepping on them? or lighting them up quite badly... (it happens)... get them a lpeg and let them run around the back garden, I dont think its responsible to allow children to play this.... as much as they want to... it CERTAINLY wont help the legal situation.

I think I dont understand what you meant exactly so this might come out wrong.:oIt is fine for children to play airsoft as I myself am 13 and there are a few sites that will let a 13 year old play as long as they have adult supervision. Now I dont know about 12 year olds as that is sort of on the edge of the age limit. I know there are some of the older airsofters who dont like teenagers playing with them. So I dont know if you mean its illegal to let the 12 year old play or that it just isint that fun having teenagers play.

Personally... I think for safety, and child protection issues, younger teens (bellow 16) should have perhaps, separate games... some adult airsofters can be quite.... bouncy? I dont disagree with younger players... Hell, one of the sites I used to be a regular at, the owner's son played... he was 12, and had been playing 3 years... (yeah, scary huh?) but he was as good as and capable as the older players, but even he got knocked around or blatted occasionally... so he didnt play much, when he did, he was great.

My issue here is that aegs do tend to say on the box.... 'for ages 18 and over'

Its a sport where you are shooting at people... by all means allow teens to play with supervision if them and thier parents understand, and accept that, but i think theres far too much scope for injury and .... court cases of other reason due to misunderstandings and innocent misinterpretation...

Just because we all play with toy guns, doesnt make everyone nice unfortunately... Lots of younger teens in proximity with older men and women can bring airsoft into a different set of crosshairs too....

They're really easy to make, so you'll be able to size it yourself. You'd have another 150 euros in your pocket too. ;)
