can any one help? my 01 skoda octavia petrol,keeps failing the nct over the emmissions.its been checked over loads of times but nothing can be found.what can i do?

air flow meter maybe? Worth getting it plugged in somewhere to see if any fault codes. Which engine is it?

anyone ever hear of driving your car in third gear at high revs before going to the nct?heard somewhere that this stunt works with emmission problems.
