  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,422 ✭✭✭The_Joker

I'd go €100 without the laser

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 352 ✭✭Joberts

Pistol , 2 mags , and laser with postage for 100 euro.
If no, best of luck to you with the sale!
You were looking for 110 + postage!
    110 - 25(case) = 85 + 12 euro postage =97 euro!!!
You must have a cardboard box lying around somewhere that you can post the pistol and accesories in!

The case is goig for €20 not €25

Originally I was asking €150 posted I'd be off my head to drop to €100 for Pistol, 2 mags, laser & postage for €100, I'd end up getting €88 for all that!

They only way I'll let this go for €100 inc postage is just for the pistol & the 2 mags on their own and that's a bargain.

And I have loads of boxes for the bits, cheers :D

I was gonna strip and polish this pistol when I got it but I was asked to sell it by someone left black.
I think I'll just strip it and polish it to look like these ones i've done

I should have the other M9 tomorrow if not i'll borrow one and take a pic.

The sig and 1911 came out good, the colt grips make it look the business
The sig was easy enough to do, DeBurca took it apart for me and put it together (the mans a genius).

The stripping didn't take too long I suppose about 20 minutes to take the coating off all in all, I used me palm sander with 240 grit paper
Then the work begins! by hand sanding down using 600, 800 & 1200 wet n dry then ran em through buffer with polishing compound

The 1911 wasn't too bad it's got a lot of flat surfaces so the sander flew through it, anything I couldn't get to by hand I used the dremel on, but still you spend a fair bit of time getting all the parts really smooth with the light grit paper
I left a few bits black it gives a nice contrast.

I suppose the longest part is getting everything good and smooth with the different grits, i reckon if you have the pistol apart from the time you start the stripping to the final polishing can take a good 3 hours to get every surface spot on, if you add the dissasembly & reassembly time it could take 6 hours or more (depending on the pistol)

I have another few GBBs in the process I'm gonna do an M9, taking it apart is easy, putting it back together and not having bits left over is another thing :D but I'm sure if i get stuck the airsoft Guru DeBurca will help :)

I must throw a pic of the polished silencer and Sig up, looks the dogs dangly bits, real blingy, even more so when I make the faux ivory grips :)

I'm definitely gonna do a vid of the whole process and slap it up on youtube.
