    Hi Bride/Grooms,

Were getting married abroad next year and as wedding favours id like to get my guests flip/flops for the evening. Does anybody know of a site/shop were i can buy flipflops in one batch instead of individually and at a decent rate?? Peharps mass producers in China etc??

    Thank you,
    :)

Souvenir type flipflops? (like for their wine glasses - eg. they are coasters?)

    Cute!

Are you going to Hawaii on your honeymoon? What is the significance?

Getting married in Italy, actual flip flops for the guests, so in the evening they can take their shoes off and boodie especially as the location/vineyard we are having it in is quite hilly.

    Know anywhere perhaps??

If you google "wholesale flip flops" you will get plenty of suppliers.

You may want to reconsider the logistics of this all. How many guests wil you be having? Do you really want to be lumbered on your wedding day in Italy with a large stash of flip flops!

How are you going to get them from Ireland to Italy when the consignment in arrives.

Have you thought this through? Is is really such a good idea or have you maybe just lost sense of what is a fun, doable wedding favour or what may turn out to be not such a good idea.

For example, could you really picture your new MIL in her lovely wedding outfit in flip flops!

I know at my wedding a few of my friends brought flip flops in their bags beacuase the wedding bus left them at the end of the driveway because it could not get up the hill to the venue. However, these were young people who didn't really care how terrible it looked and they also did pop back on their regular shoes when they arrived at the reception!

Hopefully they will ship to Italy.

How many guests are you having? Do you have a friend/contact in Italy that you will be shipping them to before you arrive?

Just for the girls or the fellas as well?

If I were you, I wouldn't bother about the fellas. They are in flat shoes anyway.

You're not going to actually ask people to wear them though, are you?

are you going to ask each of your guests for their shoe size too? I was at a wedding in Italy this summer and the reception was in a vineyard which was hilly enough. Most of the girls brought their own flip flops with them anyway and those that didn't just didn't care.
I have to admit that I think this is a silly enough idea.........then again I think wedding favours are a silly idea anyway so what do I know.

As a fan of wedding favours, I have to say that I also think this is a silly idea!

I'm afraid I can't help you source them, but I want to add that I don't think it's a silly idea at all - though it might not work out logistically and you'd probably have quite a few left over. Any wedding I've ever been to, a lot of women have ended up without their shoes and to have had flip flops provided would have been a nice bonus.

I guess it all depends on the type of wedding you are holding. A swanky affair would not suit flip flops. While maybe a more low key wedding might? Personally I would not be encouraging guests to be taking their shoes off and I would be cringing if I saw pics of wedding guests in flip flops.

I cant help much either, but i think this is the best idea ever, every single wedding or even party i go to, i have to take my shoes off come the end of the night. and when u are a guest at a wedding and u have a teeny tiny bag, sometimes u cant bring flats with you.. its such a fun idea....
I would leave the boys out of it though... but the girls will love it, weather they wear them or not....
