Are the wheelchair users in Croke Park accommodated at the very back of the lower tier of the Cusack or they down pitch side?
Also, are the positions centrally positioned on the stand or are they pushed out to the Hill16 or Canal ends?
    Thanks in advance!

was in croke park yesterday and was sittin just in front of wheelchair spaces ,and to be honest i was not impressed because for the life i found it hard enough to see.they were rite up the back of the lower cusack.i also imagine that it quite unfair to put wheelchair spaces there because people who are standing in the stand for no reason ruin it for everyone esle

The wheelcahir area of Croke Park leaves a lot to be desired. As a disabled G.A.A. supporter i checked it out a few years back while at a ladies football all ireland and was shocked the lay out of it for such a modern stadium.

The wheelchair viewing area is at the back of the lower tier all the way along the cusack and about three quarters the way around the canal end. I've been there several times for rugby games and the view is fine. The problem is that when a try is about to be scored everyone sitting in the seats in the lower tier stand up in excitement and you miss the actual try. If you're lucky enough you can catch it on the TV's but if there's a tall lad in front of you, you haven't a hope.
It's not ideal but it's a million times better than the old setup in Lansdowne Road.

The same applies to any sport. When something happens or is about to happen, people stand up and forget about those behind them who are not able to do so.
