check if upnp is workin, under connection status it will say enabled or not available, if ots the latter ur gonna have to forward ports

you want nat 1, do the pppoe trick
or if your gonna settle on nat 2 the correct ports must be open/forwarded, just cos it says nat 2 doesnt mean its all good, even tho it is better then 3

to use pppoe ya need the username and password that ur router uses to get on the network, for perlico, they are perlico@perlico.com and broadband, on the ps3 set up a new connection and select custom, choose wired or wireless,
then select pppoe from the next settin and enter the user name and password above, set everythin else to auto and dont use a proxy

and that will work? so after opening ports and all that complicating stuff this is NAT 1.... hhhmmm weird is that what you did?

Thanks though will def give it a try, :D

usin pppoe ya wont need to open any ports because the ps3 wont be behind the router firewall, used to work for me but not anymore, i'm with eircom
