    Anyone know if there will ever be another release of this classic ? Last one I played was SC4

    Probably, there is a phone version, it is too easy and restricted and small in scope.

    Pretty much what you'd expect for a phone game though I guess.

    I love the series, there must be an Open Source equivalent somewhere.

    Actually it is Sim City as Sim City was released under GPL but the name had to be changed.

    I haven't heard of one but I'd love to see a new version. We are due one. SC4 was about 2000/2001-ish (I think) but I never really got into that for some reason. Loved the versions before that though. The original was one of my first addictions :)
