Travelling to Brazil in a few days, and will be there for the hurling final, anyone any ideas of where I could I watch it. Will probably be in Rio for it, but if anyone knows any place between Salvador and Rio, we could organise plans around it.

Unless a place will bother to stream a feed from the internet to a big screen there is little chance of catching it in a bar.

Best bet is to probably find an Internet cafe and post up in there with a few drinks. That's what i usually do. Check out www.justin.tv/nern or www.gaalive.net (think this is down at the moment though)

Gonna post here on the off chance that someone knows of an Irish bar in Tulum in Mexico that might be showing the football semi? I dont fancy watchign the match on a 9" screen. Its 30 degrees here but it doesn't feel like summer without the championship!

I've never come across any Irish bar in Mexico that shows GAA. Even in DF. I was looking when i was there for the championships 2 years ago. I don't even remember there being an Irish bar in Tulum.

Well i'd watch it on a 2 inch screen if it was available. Can't be picky when you are on the other side of the world.

I'm in the same boat...well not literally...I'm in alaska! So what I'm doing is putting my fingers in my ears, cell phone is turned off and I'm ignoring all things GAA till the rte scum put it on championship replay at 11pm tonight irish time. by then it'll be lunch time here anyway and I'm gonna watch it with a few pints. all the bars here have wifi :)

Anybody trying to watch it now online can go here

    http://www.myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=47681&part=sports

Under the RTE2 section click on the first link. It will open it in windows media player. A mate is watching it now in Canada. He could be using a proxy though since it is streaming from RTE 2.

Wish I'd seen this yesterday, was dying to see the Kerry-Meath game...at least I'll know for next time! I don't think irish bars are showing matches anymore with Setanta gone. Although I know there's a few places in London getting it illegally, but I don't think it's a worldwide thing. In Thailand at the moment, and theres no GAA :(

I was in Thailand a few weeks ago and Our bar in Chaweng on Samui was showing Gaa. Got to see the hurling and football including the shameful Dubs vs Kerry game.

Apparently "The Irish pub" in Ipanema "should" be showing it, if anyone wanted to know... They had the Kerry game last weekend anyway.
