    Hi all,
I am looking at buying a complete set of new clubs and have about €300 to spend.
I was looking across the net at deals and couldnt really find anything till i came across these Tubby golf clubs which are nike clones.
    Does anyone reccomend these.
Maybe someone could piont me in the right direction or site to buy clubs.
    Thanks

Never used clone clubs to be honest, but have a look on this website, some good offers - Wilson, Adams, John Letters and a nice set of Clevelands (stiff shaft though) for around that price mark. Also try www.onlinegolk.co.uk, another good site (both used by a lot of people on here and recommended) that have some good prices.

I used to have a set of ACER XDS Widesole irons - they were very good for the money and were better quality than the irons in most starter sets I've seen. Get them with decent shafts and you should be happy.
Just remember that in a few years time if you want to sell them you will get next to nothing for them :-(
