Lego at Hamleys cheaper then Smyths

Went to Hamleys today to get some birthday presents and noticed that the Lego is much cheaper then Smyths , one item in particular was €40 in Smyths was €35 in Hamleys. Would have normally avoided Hamleys assumig everythig is more expensive there
