How many Mater Hospitals are there in Dublin?

    Hi Folks - just a quick question. Is there more than one Mater Hospital in Dublin? I only know the one off Dorset Street?

    There's the Mater private and Mater Public. Seperate buildings very close to each other just off dorset street..

    I tried to use google, but just got a picture of one with an evaluation quote (thought it might be up for sale) and I know the one on Eccles street. The 'private' bit put me off. Sorry :(

    The Mater Private is on the corner of Eccles Street and Dorset Street Lower.

    The Mater Public is further west on Eccles Street, near Berkeley Road.
