    Maybe this would be better suited in the instruments forum, but I thought I'd pick you're brains first.

    How would I go about getting the lead guitar sound from this song:



    The sort of stuttery sound, comes in about 46 seconds in.

    hmmm sounds like a vintage tremolo pedal and a talk box effect used together.....could be wrong but pretty sure.....

    Excellent. Very well done. That was exactly it!! Dunno how you got that. The talk box is what I'd been missing, I'd the tremolo down but it wasn't quite right.

    no problem...i recognised the tone from the start of a song by the foo fighters called "enough space" on the second album....grohl uses those pedals.....
