Hi, I've just moved to mac and now need to get new editing software. I had an old win version of photoshop, but it just seems so expensive these days, I can't justify the price. Can anyone recommend an alternative?

You're complaining about expense and you've just bought a mac?! :P

Well in the Adobe camp there's Lightroom. If you're a student, (or know one) you can get a cheap student copy of Photoshop.

There is also the Gimp for OSX

    Which is free.

Also have a look at Aperture.
