Hey, does anyone know how to get to the exams that are on in the racecourse? Is there a bus leaving GMIT?

Yes there is a bus that leaves gmit, but I dont know the details

There is also the parkmore bus, which runs every 15mins, You can get it at the gmit bus stop and it will bring you out, although you will still have to do a 15min walk to get from the bus stop to the exam center

15 mins from the bus stop to the stand? You're having a laugh! About 5-6 mins.

It's the big green building located beside the carpark at the side of the college. Looks like a big shed!

There is a map of the 9 - Parkmore bus route, and directions on getting to the racecourse on www.GalwayTransport.info (it goes past GMIT along the Dublin Rd). It's more of a 5-10 minute walk from the bus-stop to the course.

This is a map of the racecourse http://www.galwayraces.com/enclosure-map
If you come in on the #9 bus, you will be arriving at entrance A (27 on the map) or B (15).

    Bus fare is E1.60.
