Just a quick tip for anyone looking for a nice way to spend a couple of hours in Carlow...

We went along this morning, and really enjoyed it. It has beautiful gardens, some nice fish ponds, a musical garden with lighting and water displays that play in time to the music and over-sized Jenga and Chess to play if you get bored of the scenery!

Best of all, the entry fee (€5 for adults/€4 for students and free for U13s) goes to a worthy cause. Don't be put off by the old-fashioned industrial estate on the way in!
