    Do you have to pay much to spend two years in the Northeastern University in Boston?

    Please don't tell me it is like the normal American tuition fees?

    Is the course really just for rich kids? Any financial help available?

    Im reaaaaly desperate to go:):pac::D

    I'm a European Business & German third year student, about to begin in Reutlingen in a weeks time.

    What I can tell you is, all students of the IPBS (International Partnership of Business Schools, ie all European Business partner unis) universities pay their own university's fees.

    In other words, an Irish student pays what it costs to study in Ireland. An American student pays $50,000 a year to study in Boston and DCU. A German student pays the same as they would at Reutlingen when they study in DCU.

    However the on campus accomodation, I've been told by friends who have studied in Boston NEU, is expensive for the equivilant accomodation as in DCU.

    Grantwise unfortunately I don't know, you don't qualify for the Erasmus Placement Grant because you're outside of Europe, but I'm sure you get a Socrates grant - it will be explained to you in 2nd year.

    That said, you have two work placements, and both are paid (Can't comment on the American pay though), so if you save up there should be no problems as the actual cost of living there is lower than at home.

    Hope this helps and good luck. :pac: :)

    Edit: Did they change the course from BA European Business to BSc? I know my German degree was changed to a BSc, but I assumed the Irish degree remained a BA.
