Recommended Dublin salons for Eyelash and Eyebrow tinting?

I'm a brunette with very faint, thin eyebrows and am looking to get them tinted and defined. However I've heard lots of horror stories of beauticians who do them way to dark or uneven or just plain messy.

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good salon (with reasonable prices, ie. around €30 for both I'm guessing?) which does both of these well? Anywhere in the city centre or near the 46a bus route are the most accessible for me.

    Many thanks :)

Almost every salon would do these. I just got a eyelash tint earlier. I have red hair and blonde eyelashes. I went for the blackest colour and it looks fine, still very natural. Eyebrows are more difficult, you have to be very quick with these as for some reason the dye takes much quicker. I would just explain you want a very light brown colour and it should be fine. I actually pencil mine in every day in a blondey brown colour and think it's better cos you can define the shape a little better.

Do it yourself. You can get a kit for under ten euro in most chemists and it will last for several applications.

I've heard too many horror stories to allow a beautician to dye my eyebrows!

Naturally I'd be way to scared to do it myself though. It really that easy?

Yep. You just mix a few drops of this liquid into a dye and then brush it on. Err on the side of caution, put it on for too short a time and do it a second time rather than leave it too long. I think there's a brand called Dyelash. It's harder to do your eyelashes though. If you use it for them, I suggest cleaning an old mascara wand and brushing it on.

    It's dead easy, yes!

youtube.com do great tutorials for this and any other home treatments ,in fact, teach your friends and save a fortune, but don't forget to test the skin 24 hours before and if you're happy with the product don't swap brands!
