    Hey girls

Bought theese shoes http://www.newlook.co.uk/1746604/174660477/ProductDetails.aspx for an event next week. Don't particlarly love them but could not see anything else pink around and I needed that shade of pink. Thing is they are a bit tight across the toes, just a little. I'm wondering if ye know of any tricks to stretch them out a bit apart from wearing them around the house with thick socks on because i don't know if that will work!

    Thanks :)

hun, how can those sandals be too tight? i mean you've plenty of room at the top! if you mean around the ankle, you could make an extra hole in the strap to adjust it for your size. nice shoes....gud chioce

sori...just after seeing the bit there tight across the toes...you could viciously but carefully pull it back and over to loosen it! :D

This happened to my mother last week. She went into the cobbler and it cost 4e a shoe to get them stretched. Took a day. They leave them over night on something that stretches them. She said they fit perfectly now. They had been a bit tight around the toes. I don't know where you are based but there are loads all over Dublin at the moment. THere's a few on Talbot Street and one I know of one George's Street. Butterslip in Kilkenny has a great cobbler.

if you get a newspaper roll it up into a ball, stick it in a plastic bag and shove it into your sandals for few days or a week it'll work. me and my mam do that all the time works great. usually top up the newspaper after couple days too so it keeps the stretch! and the plastic bag will stop any print getting on your sandals! :) hope that helps

get a little sandwich bag, fill it was water, place it where you want the stretch. put it in the freezer overnight. voila! worn in/more room. it works best with leather but will at least stretch them out until you've worn them awhile.

If you are able to actually wear them for a day or two your foot can naturally stretch them. They do look like quite a hard material though. Perhaps bring them to a local cobbler? They may have a device to do it.

See if you can find a small bottle or piece of plastic/wood that will just fit in there. Push it in and leave it.

I always bring mine to a cobbler to get them stretched if I need to. Only takes a couple of hours and works wonders!!
