Cleaning windows

    I hope someone can help, I've silicone smeered on a window and cant get it off, it's to thin a film to peel off, I've tried white spirits, nail varnish remover & heating it..

    Anyone got a solution??

    Have you tried a Stanley scraper? I think you can get a silicone sealant remover in the hardware, B&Q etc.

    You can actually buy silicone remover Phone protim abrasives on 018305966 and ask them for your nearest agent. Its called Dow Corning Silicone remover. It works quite well on the streaky bits you get on windows.

    Another solution is to buy a kids school rubber and use it to rough it up to help get it off.

    i would not personally use a scraper its a bit rough you need to be.
