HELP! Maintenance Grant- proof of address

    I know I'm leaving it very last minute, but I'm trying to get a grant for a postgrad course. I'm 24 and living out of home for 11 months. Problem is I'm just renting a room so none of the bills are in my name. As I'm living very near my parents house I stupidly never bothered to inform the bank of my new address so my statements were going to my mam's. I tried to get the bank to send a backdated statement to my place, but they wouldn't put the address on the actual statement. Can anyone think of any other way I could get proof of address? Will the county council be strict on looking for a letter from last October??
