Well, has anyone got any good deeds that gave them a buzz of all round feel goodliness for this week?

I helped my friend get a job, yay!

Hollyg'lightly, Expand Your Horizons isn't for questions or topics such as this. I'll move this to AH, as AH is probably more suitable (AH mods, you can do what you like with it).

Thank you for expanding AH's horizons. That must be your good deed for the day.:P

I helped an old lady get something from the bottom shelf at the shops yesterday. Her husband came over and shook my hand to say thank you, that made me feel good for the day but I couldn't help thinking "Jesus Christ, I only got her a bottle of milk"

I remember some woman at school was having trouble carrying a box of stuff so I offered to give her a hand, again she was really grateful.

I always find helping other people makes me feel better.

Unfortunately many people wouldn't trust me, purely because I'm a teenage boy - it's a real shame societys become so suspicious of people purely because of their age.

I saw an old lady standing at the side of a busy road looking confused and scared trying to cross the road a couple of years ago. So I decided I'd help her get across safely.

ME: Excuse me, would you like me to help you cross the road?

OLD LADY: Fúck off you cheeky little bollox!!

Should've pushed the old bítch in front of a bus.

I listened to my friend whine about his ex for 6 hours on Monday night.
He was drunk and I was sober.

I tried helping a person putting shopping into their car a year ago. They had a lot of loose fruit and vegetables and the woman was really struggling with it. Tomatoes bouncing around the road everywhere. . .

So I went over to help. She turned around and got a fright. Then a man came running over and shouting abuse at me (I assume it was the husband as he got into the car afterwards with her). He probably thought I was going to mug her or something like that.

It's like what Brummytom said, people stereotype simply because of your age. I was 16 at the time.

    Haven't helped any stranger since
