Dodgy date change

    Howdy all,
just received a Chopard Mille Miglia GMT Chronograph in a trade. Absolutely beautiful watch, however, the date change is occurring at around 3.20am instead of midnight. All my other autos change between 11.45 and 12.15. Is there an easy fix for this, or have I been sold a lemon?
Chronograph functions perfectly and all hands reset to zero. Watch was purchased at an AD last August, so is still under warranty.

cant that happen where someone trys to change the date when the movement is already in motion?

ive heard of some people fixing it by winding the date forward a few days, leaving it run for a day or so and then resetting the correct date,

if not its a relatively minor repair jobbie

Cheers Cyrus, posted this on WUS also, and it seems to be a very straightforward fix. Apparently the hands were put on incorrectly (either in the factory, or during a repair). The hands need to be removed and replaced at 12.00 just when the date change occurs. Will drop it into Weirs later this week.
